Pamela Jeen began her musical pursuit at an early age, writing and singing her own songs at country fairs at the age of nine. A native of Michigan, Pam grew up with her roots in the “country” - living on a farm as a child, and now living with her husband who is a dairy farmer, and her young son, have helped keep her heart and soul in country music.
Pamela’s songwriting style has been compared with Mary-Chapin Carpenter due to her emotional delivery of real life circumstances, and the ability to tell a unique story with every song. One of the most enjoyable aspects of Pamela Jeen’s songs, which have their own unique style, is her ability to put the perfect melody to compliment a stirring lyric.
Pamela is no stranger to hard work and persistence. With a Master’s Degree in elementary education, Pamela’s life includes even more than her family and her music, but the children that she teaches at the elementary level each year. “The best part of teaching is when you can see the excitement in the face of the student when their learning” says Pamela Jeen. Speaking of persistence, Pamela is also a member of several songwriting organizations, including NSAI, ASCAP, and TAXI.
Pamela’s deepest aspiration for music is that she provides music that will entertain and inspire her audience. While Pamela Jeen is an artist in her own right, she hopes to be able to share her songwriting ability with other established performers who could benefit from performing the songs she writes and make them their own.
